Extension to scope for testing soil to BS 1377-2:2022

Exciting news! We are thrilled to announce that i2 Analytical has been granted a significant extension to our UKAS scope of accreditation, further solidifying our commitment to excellence in laboratory testing. This extension is specific to the testing of soil samples in accordance with BS EN ISO 17892 series of standards, a pivotal development that aligns seamlessly with the requirements outlined in the BS 1377-2:2022.

This expanded accreditation underscores our dedication to providing the highest quality of testing. By adhering to the latest standards and methodologies, we ensure that our analyses are not only accurate but also in line with the most current best practices.

It’s important to note that while we are moving forward with the latest standards, we remain aware of the needs of our clients who may still require testing according to previous iterations of the BS 1377 set of standards. Therefore, for the foreseeable future, we will continue to offer accredited testing based on the superseded 1990 version of BS 1377.
